Here's a few of our pictures from our FIRST winter storm back in mid December. We do actually love the winter for the most part. We even thought about moving to Alaska at one point of our lives. Maybe someday. . . . but it seems Minnesota is doing the trick for us now. The kids were able to do some sledding with Grandpa while we visited them for Christmas. I knew I should have run out there with my camera, but watching them from the window was the most precious thing ever. I will never forget that. Grandpa dug some tunnels for them too. I'm so happy that my kids enjoy being outside!

WAIT: Is that an actual tunnel?! LOVE! We used to make those in NJ and Long Island, NY where I grew up! These pictures are absolutely DELICIOUS; your kids are too sweet. (And don't think I didn't catch the whole "watching from the window" line. LOL! That's what I'm talking about! I don't play that, either! HA!)
Looks like fun! I love Jenay's peaceful smile...she is SO chill :)
Denene~ That is a tunnel! We had two--and a little track for the kids to trek around in the yard--because the snow is too deep for them to walk through! haha! Hubby collapsed the tunnels when it warmed up a bit because he was afraid they would collapse. The kids are never outside by themselves....so I don't know why he was so freaked out! haha! I'm usually miss safety! :0) I think I love winter so much here because really--since you always have to wear hats and big coats--I never have to 'get ready' to go somewhere! hahahahaha!
Yep, I'm loving Jenay's smile and snuggly hat!
